MISSION STATEMENT

Uncommon Objects advances the educational and cultural mission of the Firelands Association for the Visual Arts by providing a venue for local, state and regional artists to display and sell handcrafted, original, contemporary art. Our Selection Committee ensures that the work is of either one-of-a-kind or of high quality and original contemporary design. Artists represented in the store have made a commitment to the arts.

SUBMITTING WORK

Artists interested in selling their work through the store are invited to contact Kyle Michalak, Assistant Director for more information at (440) 774-7158.

All work submitted must include the following:
Current Resume with your background,education and experience
Artist statement, including biographical information and the nature of the work
Envelope with proper postage for return of slides or samples

Framed 2-dimensional work must also include:
Three to five good quality slides or digital images of the
work you are submitting.
Please number each image and provide title of work,
date of work, medium and size

Unframed handcrafted work must also include:
If work is small, three to five samples of submitted work
If work is large, images or catalog of submitted work
