FAVA Summer Art Camp (GRADES 2-3)

GRADES 2-3 (ENTERING IN THE FALL)

Welcome back campers! Join us in this week-long art adventure as we reopen our classroom space for summer art camp. Familiar FAVA instructors and new artists will engage students in a variety of media to get their creativity flowing. Students will exhibit their artwork for families and friends in a closing art show reception. Supplies and healthy pre-packaged morning snack are included in tuition. Students will need to bring a lunch and water bottle. Need-based scholarships available.

THIS IS A COMBINED CAMP WITH GRADES 4-5. Space will be limited by age groups. Further camp details will be made available prior to camp start date.

Camp Schedule:

8:45–9:00am Arrival Time

9:00–1:30 Regular Camp Hours

We will be following CDC guidelines for Covid-19 public health protection. We ask that anyone ages 2+ visiting the NUCA building who has not been vaccinated wear a mask that covers both your nose and mouth at all times. Hand sanitizer is available at the front and back entrances as well as the gallery desk and in the classroom spaces—please use it. Please wash your hands often, practice good respiratory etiquette (cover your mouth/nose when coughing/sneezing), keep social distancing, and stay home if you’re feeling unwell—even if you think it’s just a summer cold. We will not require masks for our fully vaccinated visitors. Please be aware that these guidelines are subject to change at any time.

scholarships & aid

FAVA reviews and considers all application for scholarship assistance. While we may not be able to provide a complete scholarship to all those who request it, we are committed to making our classes available to as many people as possible – regardless of individual financial circumstances. For this reason, it is important that all scholarship requests are received well in advance of the class starting date, so we may allocate our available funds accordingly. We may consider any of the following factors when determining eligibility for scholarships:

  • Annual family income
  • Individual or special circumstances
  • Whether the applicant qualifies for the National Free/Reduced Price School Lunch program
(for students age 18 & younger)

**FAVA also encourages applicants to consider partial scholarship assistance, in which case the student only pays some portion of the class tuition.

All information will be kept confidential and will be used solely to determine the amount of scholarship assistance to be provided.
