Fall Photo Walk at David Fortier Park

AGES 18+

There’s nothing better than being out in nature as the day breaks. Bring your camera and join us for a morning walk through the lovely David Fortier Park in Olmsted Falls (24900 Water St. Olmsted Falls, OH 44138). We will be photographing fall colors, small waterfalls, and the natural habitat.

Participants are responsible for their own equipment. Gear to consider bringing is: camera, tripod (recommended if you have one), extra batteries, camera strap, extra SD cards or CF cards, bottled water, and snacks. Please wear clothing appropriate to the weather and location, which may include boots, knee pads (will come in handy), hat, rain coat.

OPTIONAL: Afterwards, you are invited to meet at the Falls Family Restaurant (8079 Columbia Rd., Olmsted Falls) for breakfast on own and to reflect on the morning, share, and ask questions about the photo shoot.

Participants must pre-register and will meet at a specified location that will be provided upon registration.

scholarships & aid

FAVA reviews and considers all application for scholarship assistance. While we may not be able to provide a complete scholarship to all those who request it, we are committed to making our classes available to as many people as possible – regardless of individual financial circumstances. For this reason, it is important that all scholarship requests are received well in advance of the class starting date, so we may allocate our available funds accordingly. We may consider any of the following factors when determining eligibility for scholarships:

  • Annual family income
  • Individual or special circumstances
  • Whether the applicant qualifies for the National Free/Reduced Price School Lunch program
(for students age 18 & younger)

**FAVA also encourages applicants to consider partial scholarship assistance, in which case the student only pays some portion of the class tuition.

All information will be kept confidential and will be used solely to determine the amount of scholarship assistance to be provided.
