Artist asQuiltmaker and the FAVA Folding Festival closed August 1.

The quilt that won the "Visitors' Choice" award was Gated Community by Ginny Eckley (that was the quilt in the back gallery with all of the birds -- in the muted grays and blacks).  What Were We Thinking? by Susan Stevenson was a close runner-up.

The "drawing" winners (in order of being picked) were:

2.  Randy Barkacs
3.  Jackie Ladue

 

We are currently installing our next exhibition, a 30-year retrospective of paintings, drawings, and installation art by Ohio artist, Peggy Kwong-Gordon.
Exhibition Dates: August 27 through September 30, 2010

FAVA’s gallery shop, Uncommon Objects, will be open in August with a normal schedule (Tue-Sat, 11-5, and Sun, 1-5) maintained whenever possible. Additional closed days will be posted on this page.
