Learn how to use your camera in a beautiful park!
Join us on this early morning photo walk to capture springtime at Cascade Park in Elyria, OH. Get inspired by the river and natural woodland at this Lorain County Metro Park. Local photographer, Mark Nowak, will assist you in getting to know your camera better, help sharpen your photography skills, and give tips on how to photograph fall flowers and scenes. All skill levels welcome.
Participants must pre-register and will meet at a specified location that will be provided upon registration.
Participants are responsible for their own equipment. Gear to consider bringing is: camera, tripod (if you have one), batteries, camera strap, extra SD cards or CF cards, bottled water, and snacks. Please wear clothing appropriate to the weather and location, which may include boots, knee pads, hat, rain coat.

Mark Nowak
Mark Nowak is a professional photographer with over 10 years of experience, based in Elyria, Ohio. He brings a love and passion to his photographic work, especially when he is shooting simply classic, yet elegant portraits that will stand the test of time.
While he excels in weddings and engagements, his passion is creating customized portraits, such as individuals, families (including pets!), and seniors.
FAVA reviews and considers all application for scholarship assistance. While we may not be able to provide a complete scholarship to all those who request it, we are committed to making our classes available to as many people as possible – regardless of individual financial circumstances. For this reason, it is important that all scholarship requests are received well in advance of the class starting date, so we may allocate our available funds accordingly. We may consider any of the following factors when determining eligibility for scholarships:

All information will be kept confidential and will be used solely to determine the amount of scholarship assistance to be provided.
