Sean Norton
Sean Norton is a mixed media artist from Ithaca, New York. He’s currently a student at Oberlin College, studying Archaeology & Ancient Ceramics, as well as light-based immersive and interactive art. His work spans a variety of mediums, including wheel-thrown ceramics, stained and blown glass, and generative digital media for projection mapping. His ceramic work focuses on functional forms at the intersection of glassware and pottery, and all he really wants to do is make someone’s favorite mug.
His multimedia work focuses on visual synchronicity with live music performances and interactive light & sound installations that try to let people slip into a sense of wonder through play and exploration.
