Meet the Staff - Tirzah Legg

Please join us in welcoming new Gallery Director, Tirzah Legg. Tirzah comes to FAVA from the Kent State Collection & Galleries where she was the Assistant to the Director. She recently graduated Kent State with a Master of Fine Arts in Ceramics. She also received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Tirzah's new role of outreach and artist engagement will touch all of Northeast Ohio. Her recent relocation to Oberlin will allow her to become even more immersed in the Lorain County art scene. “As a contemporary artist, I believe that community engagement will play an essential role in the continued appreciation and better understanding of the visual arts' contributions to society,” said Tirzah.

Tirzah is currently working to add new work and artists to the FAVA Gallery Shop and to the Gallery. She welcomes all new artist applications and introductions.
