Four weeks of in-person art camps will be offered this summer led by FAVA teaching faculty and guest artists. Each camp will encourage growth and development of visual art skills and engage campers in fun activities. Camp weeks will be age-specific with limited enrollment to provide a safe environment and more personalized attention. Each week will be different from the rest with campers exploring a variety of art mediums and age-appropriate projects. Tuition includes all art materials.
Campers should bring a lunch and refillable water bottle. Healthy snacks will be provided for breaks. At the end of each camp week, students will exhibit their artwork for families and friends in a closing art show. Need-based scholarships available.
At this time, FAVA protocols require all teachers, students, and camp workers to provide proof of Covid vaccination. Mask-wearing will be followed, but can be removed during outdoor activities. Each camper will be provided with a bin for their individual supplies to avoid as much sharing as possible. FAVA will continue to monitor Covid guidelines as they relate to summer camp operations and will send out updates to keep camp families informed.
Camps will be listed by weeks and grade levels. Please be sure to register your child under the grade level they will be entering in the fall.

We are excited to open a dedicated space for fiber arts education. We look forward to the Fiber Arts Studio being a place where weavers and other students can feel comfortable sharing ideas and techniques with other students and instructors, and progress in their fiber arts skills. We hope it will be of great benefit in drawing people to create and develop lifelong skills.
Students will have the opportunity to reserve looms to work on projects at their own pace in an open studio setting or enroll in workshops to have fun experiencing something new. Call 440-774-7158 for information on reserving looms.
Scroll down for the current listings of fiber arts workshops.
As of April 1, 2022, FAVA will no longer require proof of vaccinations for our classes. We are also lifting our mask requirement for vaccinated visitors. We ask that anyone unvaccinated please continue to mask up, but masks are optional for vaccinated visitors to all FAVA spaces. The decision to continue to wear a mask (or not) once someone is vaccinated is deeply personal, so we ask that everyone honor everyone else’s decisions. We will, of course, continue to keep an eye on both national and local health guidance and adjust our policies in the future if necessary.
