Intermediate Ceramic Handbuilding: Larger Coiled Vessels
Ages 14+
May 13-June 3
5:30-7:30pm
This class is ideally designed for students who have already taken a ceramics class and have some basics under their belt. However, beginners are welcome.
The focus of the class is on building larger ceramic works using coil building techniques. We will discuss larger scale coil building, surface decoration, and the logistics of how to finish these works. The students will complete at least two large coiled vessels during the time.
Please bring clothes you can get dirty, tie back long hair, and bring an apron or towel.
Students will have access to the studio during Open FAVA hours, outside of class, for the duration of their class.
