Baltic Pick-up Inkle Loom Weaving
Saturday, October 28, 2023 1 pm to 5 pm
This class will teach you Baltic Pick up weaving on the inkle loom. Learn to read patterns out of popular inkle weaving books and create bands for bands, guitar straps, bookmarks, and all sorts of uses with lovely pick-up designs. We will assume you already know how to warp your own loom and can already weave a plain weave band.
Students need to bring sharp scissors and measuring tape.

Gina Talandis
Gina Talandis has been a fiber artist for over 20 years. She began her journey as a weaver and expanded her expertise as a spinner and needle felter. She has given workshops on weaving with a rigid heddle loom, drop spindle, spinning and needle felting. She participates in numerous demonstrations through her guild sharing her enthusiasm for the fiber arts. Gina is also a wood craftswoman and designs products to make her weaving and spinning more efficient. Gina can be found at home in her garden, workshop or at her spinning wheel or loom in Wellington, Ohio. Check out her website fiberwoodandclay.net for more resources.
