Introductory Ceramic Wheel Throwing
Ages 14+
October 20 – December 8 6-8pm
Tuesdays for 8 weeks
This class is dedicated to the basic skills of throwing on the wheel. It is also open to those who have some experience on the potter's wheel and would like to polish their basic skill. No experience needed. All materials are included.
Student should bring an apron or large towels, a small notebook and clothes to get messy in. Long hair should be tied up.

Michael Brannaman
Mike Brannaman recently moved from the Carolinas to Oberlin, he was at the Clayworks studio in Charlotte. He was bitten by the pottery bug in 2007, and particularly enjoys mug making and utilizing different surface decoration. He looks forward to working with all of you in this wonderful setting.
FAVA reviews and considers all application for scholarship assistance. While we may not be able to provide a complete scholarship to all those who request it, we are committed to making our classes available to as many people as possible – regardless of individual financial circumstances. For this reason, it is important that all scholarship requests are received well in advance of the class starting date, so we may allocate our available funds accordingly. We may consider any of the following factors when determining eligibility for scholarships:
