Schedule a Private Pottery Pop-In

Pottery Pop In

Ages 15+

Anyone under 15 must be accompanied by an adult as a pair sign up.

Email erin@fava.org and schedule your private party today. Minimum 4, Maximum 6 participants. Weekends and evenings available for scheduling.

Grab a friend and take a spin on the potter’s wheel!

If you’ve ever wanted to try your hand at pottery, but didn’t want to commit to a regular class schedule this workshop is for you. Get a basic introduction to the technique of throwing on the wheel in this 2-hour workshop for beginners. Grab a group and turn it into a private class with the people you love! Limited spaces available. Keep your best pot, select a glaze and we’ll notify you when it’s ready for pick up in our shop!

$40 per person (includes instruction, clay, glazes and firing).

Erin McCarty

Erin McCarty

Erin McCarty is a mixed media artist from Henrietta, Ohio. She is the Director of Education and Outreach and an instructor at FAVA. She completed an MFA in Ceramics from West Virginia University in 2020, as well as an BFA in Painting and Drawing from Bowling Green State University. She specializes in Ceramics, Painting and Drawing. Her 3D artwork emphasizes texture, repetition and mark making on hand-built ceramic structures. The goal is to provide both the maker and the viewer a whimsical, saturated, and tactile experience as they interact with her objects and installations. Save
